How often to use K-L-N

Lets start off with a happy 4th. Hope everyone is having a great day already.

My question is how often should one use K-L-N (or similar product).

I have used it only when I have re-potted or moved my pets into S/H media.

Should one add a little to the fertilizer mix from time to time.

I add it weekly to the watering water from time to time. I only really do it for a couple of ones which had root problems in the past and are now recovering but I make up one batch of water for them all so they all get a bit.

There have been some reports of KLN causing deformaties if used too much so you don't want to overdo it.

It can be used as a fertilizer additive on a regular basis at no more than a drop or two per gallon.

Thanks for the responses... I am going to go shopping for an eye dropper to add to my arsenal.
