Hello from Nicaragua

Hi,
I'm Sune, a botanist from Nicaragua interested in plant photography of wild species. Originally, I come from Denmark, but 8 years ago I settled down in this paradise of flora and biodiversity reaching us from both continents. Nicaragua is not a boring place - it is still so little investigated that "new" species for the country and the region is very frequently found. Orchids, of course, they are special because people like to bring them down from the mountains and cultivate them - even from the countries outside Nicaragua. This "softens" up the earlier endemism, probably good and bad at the same time.
