Oncidium floridanum

Oddly enough, there is little information and even less photos on the Oncidium floridanum online.

I will be spending all of next week in the Everglades. The first two days in the Fakahatchee and surrounding areas, then I plan on making my way towards Flamingo. I really would love to look for the Oncidium floridanum, and I understand that they grow in the hammocks of the Everglades.

Has anyone had the privilege of viewing this beautiful orchid in habitat? Any tips on searching for them?

As always, your thoughts are much appreciated.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Justin Parkkonen
