Oerstedella medinae (Dodson) Hágsater
Interesting Ecuadorian species. The plant is tall, the reed stems verrucous and the flowers are born from the opposite side of the leaves. It was first described as Epidendrum, then transferred to Oerstedella and now, according to Kew, back to Epidendrum again... go figure!!
