Greenhouse Growing
 

We have a new greenhouse. The question is this, what amount of shade cloth do i need for the orchids. I have some cats and they seem to be doing great with the 40% i have on there now. However, the onc. and the phals seem to be getting burned. What should I do?

you need at least 60% shade cloth for the summer, even for the catts....i even put up an extra peice of 30% on top of that for the portion of the house that has phals and onc in july and august...gl with your new g'house, its loads of fun!

Wouldn't it be a good idea to know exactly what the incident light level is before recommending how much to cut it back?
