Is it too late for this Dendrobium??

Do you have photos of the rest of the plant? If your plant has a good root system and some new growths, it should be fine. :) Old Den canes will become leafless after a while, and sometimes start to dry up like that. The answer to your question really depends on the state of the plant itself. If it has little/no roots, and no new growths, then the outlook is not very good.

Are they mushy? From what I can see, at least some of them look like they might be OK . . . but I'm definitely NOT an expert! Just learning--I'll learn along with you!

I've had mixed success with reviving dends, but I know people living in tropical areas who can just throw old canes outside and they will burst out in keikis and new roots - they make it sound like these plants are impossible to kill! I believe it's the warmth, light, high humidity, and air movement that combine to get these plants going. If you can just kick start it into gear, you might be able to save it. I have an old dend which I thought was dead, but it managed to pull out enough strength from it's 2 old canes to pop out 3 new growths.

No, the roots are not mushy. But they aren't dry either.
It bloomed in Jan. I may keep it & keep it in the warm weather & hope for the best........
I don't want to give up on it.

If the roots are good and firm, then it's just a question of it growing some new canes! A bit of fertilizer, and a warm not too sunny spot should help it.

I think it has a much better chance than mine. I pulled it out of the pot and put it on a wet towel with sphag on top of it to try to revive it.

Richard, just my 2$cents about yours and the way you try to revive it. I think this way you end up with mold. The sphag seems too wet to me.
What I did was wetting the moss but squeeze every drop of water out of it and I tried to keep it moist as it was left after squeezing every drop of water out of it.
I would say, keep it slightly moist and very fluffy. Instead of a towl you can use sphag too.
For keeping it evenly moist I used a spray bottle.
