Whats wrong with my Brassidium?

I bought this Brassidium at Home depot about a month ago and it is developing spots and yellow patches on its leaves( see pics below). What is wrong with it and how do I treat it?

No idea, but I will be watching since I have one with similar conditions.

Wgama,

The leaves look fungal to me. The yellowing leaf looks like natural die-off progression.
Check the roots to be sure they're in good working condition.
Try an anti-fungicide treatment a couple of times and see if that helps. Always have good air circulation around you're orchids, this can help in preventing future attacks.

Good luck :)

Yah I check ed the roots and they are very healthy looking. So I will try a fungicide. This orchid obliously got theis fungus before I got it because my house is no were near humid enough for a fungal infection to set in.
Thank you ufor the help!

You're welcome :)
Its good that the roots are healthy - chalk one up for you, less work involved!
I've received a few orchids and the leaves we're not in good shape at all - a few treatments and some tlc they will come around within time :)

Happy Growing!

I sprayed it with green earth garden fungicide( the only fungicide htey sell in my little town) adn there doesn't seem t obe a difference... I only sprayed it two days ago so I guess I will have to wait to see of it continues spreading.

You have two infections neither of which is serious.

The spots that form on Oncidium in abundance is usually Phyllostictinc pyriformis fungus and relatively harmless, although, unsightly. On some Oncidium like the Chocolate orchid Onc Sharry Baby they appear in the thousands. It has very little if any effect on the health of the plant. There is not much you can do to prevent it.

Some of the spots look like they were insect bites (indented into the leaf.) It also looks like any secondary infection that attacked there has stopped.

You plant should do fine.
