Two Phal Hybrids
These started blooming earlier this week.

Your Phal. hainanensis is not a hybrid but a species from the island of Hainan, China. The indication of 'Leesburg x Old Dominion' is just an indication of the two different plants he used to create the cross but they are both still the species hainanensis.
Here is a picture of my hainanensis, the exact same one you have http://pic80.picturetrail.com/VOL858.../357695644.jpg Your second one is a hybrid from the hainanensis and honghenensis which is another Chinese origin phal. Yeah I got them both from Al's Greenhouse.
He really has some amazing orchids. I love the fact that they both smell alot like grape soda. Both of these are in my 120g vivarium. |
