jackpot at lows. finaly got a non noid orchid this year
 

altho last year i got a few non noid cats. they were true bag babies. and a blooming size i was able to snag is a noid. sigh. but today i went in.. and i was looking at the yellow spashed cats that are bag babies.. they have the large bags then the seedlings.. i looked though the red gold.. because one looked different.. it had a different tag..and different form and had a tag hand penciled in with a name..
and healthy to boot along with the fact that it has bloomed before (dry flower stem)
its called BLC Hsinying Fantasy
has anyone seen that one? anyone tell me about this plant? scent? thanks in advance

Usually the bagged orchids do have tags. They may not match the picture on the cardboard label, but the tags should be right.

It doesn't seem to be a registered hybrid (yet), it's not listed in Orchidwiz. There are lots of others that have Hsinying in the name and the originator of all of them is listed as: Ching Hua Orchids in Taiwan. I would assume that the one you have also came from them. I didn't look for a web site but maybe you can try to contact them for information on what parents were used :dunno:

actually.. tags might be there.. butt. lol the big noid i got last year hada tagg.. it said....

that was it on the tag lol.. talk about letdown..but it looked as if it bloomed 4 times..so was happy with that ty for the idea on finding who the parents are.. im going to do another google
just for the heck of it. maybe ill find it somewhere..
