Neolehmannia medusae in all its weirdness
 

This species is named for the snake-haired Gorgon of Greek mythology and with good reason:

I believe it was given me by a friend a number of years ago who wasn't able to provide the cooler conditions it likes.

Ah so it's a cooler grower, interesting! That means I can grow it.

I've always grown it with Masdevallias but closer to the lights.

Very neat looking little flower!
