My fuscopunctatus has some odd little growths. I'm sure they are a good thing, but I'm curious as to what they are, exactly.

Roots? Flowers? Stems?

That looks quite similar to my epidendrum ibaguense and it started out quite the same. I would agree those are roots. Look at this and you'll see...

These roots all started out as little green nubs as well ;)
