Den. anosmum blooming season almost over

The blooming season for Den. anosmum is almost over. Fortunately, a few late bloomers are still putting on a good show in my growing area. Here is one plant that flowered this week. I like the color and shape of the flowers. The flowering stems are 26 inches long.

This is such a pretty color. I was in my son's greenhouse yesterday and a beautiful deep purple one tried to follow me home. My problem is, I didn't have the correct area to grow it. What did follow me home was a couple "Little Pots of Horror" aka Venus Fly Traps.

I almost got a cat also. I mentioned I had found a mouse in my gargage so he offered me a one of his cats. I said maybe I should borrow it for a few days until he found my mouse. Dave said "Oh no Mom, once you get him he's yours"..........I stopped on my way home and bought a couple of mouse traps instead.

Den. anosmum should do well in Thailand. Many of the growers in Hawaii including myself do not give our plants any rest. We keep the media moist all year round and fertilize throughout the year. I use plastic pots and New Zealand sphagnum as the media.

Yes Hawaiian Sunshine agree , this plant should do very well in Thailand as it's growing here in the wild. And thanks for informations , I didn't know that this plant can bloom without any rest. For myself, I still hope it'll bloom , I saw 3 weeks ago in the market many with plenty of flowers...
