Phrag. After-Glo (?)

I got this a few weeks back, in bud, labeled 'Eric Young x Sorcerer's Apprentice', which is After-Glo, I believe. I sure do like it, but I don't see very much Eric Young in it. Maybe a miss- lable? Whatever it is, it's a keeper, if I can make room for it. It's huge already.

Looks like it could be a straight sorcerer's apprentice.

I would have suggested that the plant had a selfing by accident due to accidental rubbing of its own pollen onto the stigma during the crossing. However according to the label Sorcerer's Apprentice is the pollen parent, so that is not possible, unless the hybridizer did not follow the usual way of writing labels.

I'm afraid that isn't a sorcerer's apprentice either. It looks like it has some caudatum-type influence in it as well.

I'm just throwing a guess out there. It might be a Phrag les dirouilles (sorc. apprentice x Grande). Or a Phrag. Bel Croute (sorc. apprentice x caudatum)

Have you tried contacting the vendor? They probably know better.

I would have also suggested phrag mont fallu (grande x longifolium) but the inside of the pouch is not consistent with the extra dose of longifolium.

I think the inside of the pouch and staminode might be helpful with ID. I don't think this is a primary hybrid so it might be difficult.

If it indeed has sorcerer's apprentice in it, it should carry a large bloom count. Phrag les dirouilles is my best guess and I think a reasonable one looking at the shape and patterns of the pouch. I'm not a big expert yet since green phrags don't take a large portion of my collection.

I really appreciate your efforts Fren! Grande and Bel Croute were mentioned on the AOS board, also. The vendor was an ebay seller that didn't seem to have any real idea what she was selling, so no help there. I'm brand new to phrags, this is my third, so this is a totally new learning curve for me. Thanks again.
