B. nodosa

This beauty needs no introduction...you might even be able to smell it, if you lean close enough to the computer. The wonderful Brassavola nodosa has a reputation (and a smell) that precedes it. This plant fills the whole greenhouse with a lovely sweet fragrance. This one used to be outside in the full sun, but now hovers proudly atop my Vanda section of my greenhouse. It has been on this mount for about two years, and as you can see...it ain't goin' nowhere!

The only way to describe B. nodosa is "awesome." I love the flower, love the fragrance, love the plant. Thanks for sharing yours!

I love the mount Jasen :bowing Think I'll take a look in my storage tub and see what I can do. I have a B nodosa to repot so I might as well make it interesting.

Very striking mount and the nodosa is beautiful.

I can't say enough about the nodosa. I had only one bloom on mine last summer and that one bloom scented my entire patio (like honeysuckle) every evening for about a month. I can only imagine what your's is doing, with all those blooms. It looks great on that mount.

Thanks to all. My greenhouse has had this smell for the last few months. My B. Little Stars (nodosa hybrid) was blooming for months, and it looks and smells exactly like nodosa. Then, as the last flower fell off that one, the first nodosa flower opened up, like clockwork.
