Gilded Urchin Ontario Information
 

Hello All

I'm new to this site and to orchids and I'm looking for some experienced advise on my first orchid, a Gilded Urchin Ontario. Can anyone point me in a direction to find out how to care for this type of orchid? I'm looking for details for a novice to follow. Thank you for your help!!

Hi Kevin,

I don't know this orchid but a quick serch has turned up that it's a Brassidium which is an integeneric hybrid, in this case it is a primary hybrid between Brassia arcuigera and Oncidium wentworthianum.

Hopefully someone here who knows about Brassidium will be able to give you more advice. This orchid probably falls in to the Oncidium Alliance so it may also help you to take a look at the sub-forum for them here on OB.
