I want to show you the spiking of an orchid plant. Here is an Zygopetalum that I got for 1 €. I dont know the flower. Look and let us be patient!

Isn't it interesting how a lot of zygos bloom concurrent with new growth, while other genera wait for that growth to mature, and still others bloom on old growths only.

Looks like it's coming along strong... One Euro is pretty cheap for that plant! :) Good deal!

i really like the color patterns that most zygos have. u def should post A PIC when it blooms

One spike broke and the other one had 2 blossoms only. But its better than nothing!

Does anybody know the name?

I can't identify it, but is very similar to Zygopetalum triste and Zygo crinitum, may one (or both!) is a parent plant.
