My Delight
My utmost delight was when this Cattleya bloomed and I couldn't resist taking it's pics from every angle. A parent's pride you can say ...heheheh. :blushing: I would like to share this with you all. The bloom lasted for about 2 weeks. My only regret though is that I do not know it's species. I have seen a similar one in waldor's website. Perhaps he would be so kind as to help me out here.

Hami,
this is definitely a hybrid, not a species.....I have no idea on the name as there are several that have this appearance. It has cattleya dowiana in the background, presenting the yellow flower with lovely red lip. |
That is a beauty Hami! Congratulations.

Sorry for the long absence. The prior slow response of the system did not help. I just found the way to trace my previous postings and I notice that the system response time has improved a lot.
I thought I saw a similar one in one of the member's gallery. I should have taken note of its name. Will try to find it again.:(( Thnx Phantasm for the tip. |
Found it in Peter NL's gallery - Blc Alma Kee "Tipmalee".
It looks similar!:D |
