Rather tardy on my part in posting this but life's just been that way.

I did pick up a few things at the Lansing show -- rather more than I should have really.

First there was this lil thang. I had been looking for one to replace the one I lost several years ago but the only venders I had found at that time who had it wanted more $ than I was willing to part with. Attachment 27775Hopefully I can keep it happy this time around.

Then there was this one. Attachment 27774 Been wanting to try one for a while to see if I could bloom it. Got it from Oakhill and thought the price was decent for the size plant

I also did something I don't think I've done before -- purposely bought a plant of which I already had one. Sometime back I bought a NBS Masd floribunda x imposter. It bloomed but the flowers just didn't "WOW" me. Attachment 27780 Well at the show I saw another one in bloom with darker flowers -- color more to my liking. Then because I've never succeeded in blooming the one type of Tolumnia I do have, I picked up a different type in spike

I almost picked up a very nice Slc Trick or Treat instead. Fortunately while I was hemming and hawing someone else snapped it up. ;)

But it wasn't all 'about me'. I picked this up for a cousin of mine and his fiance'. She loves orchids but has never had one before.
