Mediocalcar sps. and Encyclia vitellina
 

Hi all;
Just had time to take a couple of snapshots of three orchids that are blooming just to fill a roll of film.
I'll take better photos when I have time and go digital!
The plants pictured are two recent divisions of:Mediocalcar bifolium (white/red flower),M.versteegianum (green/red flower),and Encyclia vitellina that I have grown for several years now.
All are growing under lights,in cool-int. temps, the Mediocalcars (along with Pleurothallids etc.) near the cool mist of an ultrasonic humidifier.
All summer in a cage outdoors in the shade.[IMG]mediocalcar[/IMG]

I love those Mediocalcars! I've always wanted to give some a shot...hmmm...you make me want to spend money now! Haha.
