Laelia praestans Linden & Rchb.f.
Laelia praestans is very similar to L. pumila (the plants are indistinguishable), the main differences appearing in the lip shape. Not commonly found in the collections, not even here in Brazil.

Really great!
Do you grow it only in moss? I`m in love with the group of "mini" Laelias, as pumila, dayana, alaori, jongheana, praestans, sincorana. Don't know if i'm forgetting some one. Added to my list. |
That is really beautful, I like the compact plant size and the flower is just so lovely, Thank you for sharing it with us.

I guess your list has them all (it might include Laelia spectabilis, but some taxonomists rank it as pumila variety, not species) |

Wonderful little flower. Do you know if the habitat similar or same as for L. pumila? |
