Slc "Deborah Off" - source?
Saw one of these at a show recently, and was really taken by the vibrant color and shape. Anybody have an idea where I can find one? A Google search and hunt through my favorite growers yielded no sources. I'd also be more than willing to pay or trade for a division if someone's got one...

Hello,
That plant name kinda rings a bell... I would check with Waldor Orchids- they might have it Waldor Orchids |

That will probably have to come from a private collection It was introduced in the seventys and has probably run its course in retail. You might try some of the old time growers I got my second Chit Chat Tangerine from Bill Owens before he passed. He didnt think he had any anymore but after a few days rooting in the Greenhouses he found one A hudge one, I now have it but paid the price be ready for that. . |

Sometimes it helps in your searching if you look for the said plant under it's correct name, it's Cattleya Deborah Off, not Slc.

Most of the awarded plants of this grex were shown by Orchid Alley (in VA, I think) and awarded at the Mid-Atlantic Judging Center (DC).

It's a Waldor cross (registered in 1985), so why not give them a call. Just because it's not listed doesn't mean they don't have it.
