I am not only new to the site, I am brand new in orchids, just three weeks new. When I bought Princess (my only name at this time for the georgous white Phaleanopsis I purchased) I was scared to death. Glad there's a site like this to go to. We are both doing very well--she is on her 7th bloom on one stem. Sorry I'm not versed in the proper terminology yet.

Thank you for the welcome, so nice of you. I just tried live chat, my first time at it. It moves so quickly. I know this is going to be a perfect place for me and I hope I will be able to return the favor.

I like to go into the live chat now and then, when my fingers aren't too tired. I am computer challenged in many ways, so I find it a little difficult to keep up. I too think this will be a perfect place for you. I think it's a little "Orchid Eden" here where everyone fits like a glove. :)

Welcome ajbc!! The Orchid Board is by far the best place EVER!! The folks here are willing and able to offer help and answer questions. Phals are a nice choice for people just starting out, not for me though. Phals hate me! I'm glad you had a chance to check out the chat! It gets pretty crazy in there sometimes! Hope you see you in there sometime!

Ajbc Welcome to the OB. There is tons of knowledge here on the OB so don't be afraid to ask questions. OH! we love :photo: lots of :photo: . I have quite a few Phals. and they aren't that hard to care for just remember to keep water out of the crown so it won't rot.
