Oh yay... on my way to pick up a new Onc
 

I was in a store the other day and they had a gorgeous Onc but the flower stem had broken off. I wanted to know how much it was but the lady there didnt know so the owner was supposed to call me back and tell me. I called today to check the price and she said $19.95 cause the flower stem is broken. I'm on my way to pick it up right now. :biggrin:

Yeah I know. I did a Google search for purple Oncidium and flipped through the pages till i found one that looks like it. I'll post the actual name when I get back and see the tag. There was still a couple flowers left on the spike but they were drying up and falling off.

its a Beallara Marfitch. It has some new growth and a few mature bulbs that don't look like they have flowered yet. It looks quite healthy. I haven't checked the roots yet but the leaves are light green all the way to the tip and the pbulbs are nice and plump. I'm soooooooooo excited... yay i love getting new chids!!!!!!!!!!!!
