A visitor in the house

I found this little guy crawling around on my Paph Hsinying Alien. I hope it's not the same littlefrog that's been visiting Rob...

I love it !!!! That's very cool. Where was the plant at your house or outside ?

Tony 12-20-2006 02:15 PM

It's inside. I find these guys all the time in my house and car, but usually dead and dried up.

Next to the dead dendros? :hmm Could be a connection...

He's so cute! Maybe your orchids have found a symbiotic relationship with the frogs :)

When I had more "regular" plants out on the lanai, these little guys were in paradise! I'd take a plant out of it's pot to be transferred into something else, and find 5 or 6 of these guys lounging around their little private room! Their "singing" would get so loud at 6 am, I decided to disperse with the regular plants...and in the process, got more rooms for 'chids!

I still find them and lots of the little lizards (I think they are anoles) around the lanai :) I just have to make sure Sammi doesn't grab them

Thats is sooo cute. Poor little fella'! He was probably chomping away at nasty bugs at night and stuff. Look into Eleutherodactylus planirostris. Thats what I think it might be. Happy herping everyone! (Oops, wrong forum ;) )

Ilove the sound of frogs croaking away, you know in the good way, not the bad. I can't wait to hear them again this summer. They tend to go away when it's 24 F outside for a low. But when we get our patio built......
