The bloom looks like a shy guy preventing me from taking a photo.
We here call it the goose bulbophyllum because its lateral view resembles the head of a goose.

Nice! I'm getting on of these for my birthday (along w/a few other plants), can't wait! How's the scent. I know it's described as odd.

The flower of this species is semi-open, Tindo.
It is odorless but some books describe it smells stinky.
