Aeranthes Grandiose light requirements

Does anybody know the light requirements (in footcandles) for an Aeranthes Grandiose 'Shooting Star'? Oak Hill indicates medium to high, while other sites indicates low light. The plant I have was purchased in-spike and the leaf color is med-dark green. To me, this indicates a lower light requirement.

What do you all think?

thanks

My experience with Aeranthes grandiflora would indicate medium to high light which probably means that your plant could use a little higher light.

Moving this to the Vanda alliance, a bump so you can get some more comments.

I would think if you got it from Oak Hill they would know what they are talking about. Sorry I can't help you as I don't have any experience with one. I would think that if it is in the vanda family it would require higher not lower light conditions.

I'd go with Ron and oakhill - my grandiflora is medium-high light as well. Dark leaves may indicate a lack of light, actually. It's a great hybrid - hope it grows and blooms for you :D
