Photos from RBG Kew
I went to Kew this past weekend to hear a talk on slipper orchids given by Phillip Cribb. While there, I took some time to go around the gardens, and found these lovely little things in bloom!

Looks like Mini Heaven, to be sure! Must have been a great trip!

Yeah, I'm jealous. Sounds (and looks) like a really cool trip. How was the slipper talk?

Apart from running into way too much traffic from the Rugby match, it was a great day out. The traffic delay meant I didn't have as much time to go around the garden as I would have liked... and even in winter there us just so much to see there! I love Kew, and am a lifetime member, so I like to go at different times of the year and see what they have in bloom.
Phil's talk was really entertaining and it was great to see his photos of many species growing in their native habitats. |
BEAUTIFULL!!!
The first one is simillar to my Scaphosephalum digitale... all are lovely little plants.... |
Wow, the Platystele misera is tiny! I'm jealous.
