This is an air plant I picked up from Duncan two months ago...so cute!!!

This is now considered an endangered species but don't worry...this is a pup off of a plant that he has had for years and years :)

Sorry for the slightly blurry picture, it just wasn't cooperating this morning :(

Nice find sue! I love these Bromeliads, so diverse.
It is a fall blooming one, so yours is right on schedule!

It seems to be closing up already...is that normal? I'm wondering if it is happening because I got water on it or if it's just a short-lived bloom :scratchhead:

At least there are plenty more to come! :dance13:

Hi Sue,
Lots of Brom blooms only last 1 day. I know some Tillandsias can last a few days, while others only 1 but they have sequential blooms. I would consider this normal.

That's really cute! Love the pendant flower spike.
After flowering it should get pups.
