First Neo - What to look for

Tomorrow I will be heading to Redlands Annual Orchid sale and will be looking to purchase my first Neofinetia. I intend to grow it in the traditional style. Before I buy, I'd love some advice.

:?: For a first Neo, which ones would you suggest? I would prefer a fragrant Neo that is relatively easy to grow and will be forgiving of mistakes while I'm learning this fascinating species of orchids.

I have three options for light/temp conditions. First, I have a covered N. facing porch that gives my orchids 2-3 hours of direct morning sun and shade the rest of the day with parts of the porch receiving afternoon full sun. I also have a W facing covered atrium that receives full-sun most of the day and indoors with multiple light conditions.

I am currently growing Dens and Vanda's on my porch and they are thriving. This is where I'd prefer to keep my Neo's but if they will not receive enough light, or too much, I have other options. From what I've read about Neo's, I'm a bit confused on light requirements , I've read everything from Neo's needs full sun 8 hours a day to full shade and that was for the exact same Neo!! :scratchhead:Any clarity on the light issue would be VERY appreciated.

:?: What should I look for in a plant aside from obvious problems like root rot, dying/dead leaves or disease that is easy to spot?

:?: And finally, since I intend to grow in the traditional fashion I realize I will need moss as well as a pot. Do I need to purchase any speciality or other items specifically for Neo's?

Ramon, I've getting notifications like that this week for various threads. I go to the thread, and there's nothing new posted there! I was like "what the heck?!?!?" :scratchhead: Just got one saying Gikoou8739 posted in a thread, put nothing there...

Ramon, I've gotten these notifications before. It happens when someone puts a "rating" on the thread. If you look on the top right hand corner, there a some stars.
