Where to post pictures?
Many OB members post their latest "bloomers" in the alliance to which the type of orchid is in bloom. Was wondering if most members preferred to post under the alliance of the blooming orchid or should we be showing in the separate category of "Orchids in Bloom". Thereby reserving the specific alliance for problems in culture, disease, or other questions pertaining to the specific type of orchid. I don't usually post to the category "Orchids in Bloom" because some members only grow a certain type and not interested in ALL orchids. Just my thoughts, what are yours?

I always post mine in our Orchids In Bloom forum. If I happen to have a certain type of plant that I've never had bloom before, I might post it in the OIB forum and the specific alliance forum.
Who doesn't like looking at pretty orchids? :faint: |
I've wondered this as well. I have since settled on the "in bloom" section.
|
I usually look for the alliance to post pics. I like knowing what I'm gonna be looking at, although naming the plant in the title area would cure that.
|
I usually post in the alliance section, though sometimes I will deviate for reasons I am, as yet, unsure of.

Is there an instruction somewhere about "How" to post pictures?

Great question Don...I always post mine in the alliance where they belong, with the name of the plant in the title...never thought about posting in the Orchids in Bloom section. :hmm
Suzanne...I saw where you post yours, but is there an "official" right way to post our pics with respect to Don's question...I'm all for doing it the official way... Please don't tell my mother that I said this...she simply won't believe you! |
I usually post my blooms in the orchids in bloom forum. However, if I have some questions about it at the same time, then the pic goes into the alliance forum.
