Fertilizing and well water

I just switched 2 plants to S/H using the starter kit from First Rays. We are on our own well with a H2O softener system that uses potassium pellets. I've been reading all of the forum questions related to this topic but I'm getting confused about ppm and acidity. So I went to the pet store and bought strips for the following levels. Here are the resulits; Nitrates=30ppm, nitrites=0, total hardness=0, total alkalinity= >300ppm, and ph=7.8. How much of that liquid fert. should I use? It's 1 tsp./50ppm.:scratchhead:
