1 Attachment(s)
a gorgeous little Paphiopedilum. Actually, the flowers are smaller than what I had expected  but the plus plus is that they are fragrant: light fresh coconut with green apple (the colsest description I could give) during the day. Did not know there were fragrant Paphs :D
Paphiopedilum concolor var. hennisianum is supposed normally have "multiple blooms" spikes. Well, at leats two ;) enjoy! |
So delicate and cute, Ramon. Do you grow this on your windowsill along with your Phrag?
And how big are these blooms? |
Very nice.

I have this guy since 3 or 4 months, and this is the first time it blooms here (however, the plant is quite "large" and has "spike rest" on 3 old fans) The flowers are about 6x5 cm (2.5x2 inches?) |
Beautiful, Ramon! Love the subtle yellow coloring. Quite a cutie!

Fragrant? that's awesome...How much light can they handle? any direct sun light?
|
yes, they are lovely... and now that I know what Paph. concolor in real life is... this two others are in my wish list (next time I go to Germany, as they do not deliver to Switzerland :()
Popow-Orchid s - Popow-Orchid s - and of course this hybrid: Popow-Orchid s - and these other species.. I need to re-think it ;) Popow-Orchid s - Popow-Orchid s - Popow-Orchid s - and this one is wow, but really out of my budegt, and far beyond my budget for a single orchid: Popow-Orchid s - |

the fragrance is very very subtle.. for example, my Partner cannot detect it (but he cannot detect any fragrance in Trochopilia tortilis either) |
