New And Would Like Some Info!

:) Hi! I am new to this forum, and website, even though i have used it for information, and for learning about some orchids in the past. But I am now a member. I would like some help though, I am trying to look for some cattleya walkerianas, that i am interested in but can't find the ones I want because some are too expensive, and some look of low quality. The ones i am interested in are 1. Walkeriana "alba"( pendentive) 2. Walkeriana Coerulea (Blue Moon) 3. Walkeriana Semi-Alba ( same form as the pendentive, not skinny type forms..like NR ORCHID SPECIES CATTLEYA WALKERINA SEMI ALBA FRAGRANT - eBay (item 310083349562 end time Sep-22-08 18:42:18 PDT) )

4. Walkeriana (normal original purple one, what is the species name of this one?)

I would like all the walkerianas to have the same type of form, because I have seen some that are skinnier than other in flower form. The nice form I like is like pendentive. And the bulbs would be nice if they were the nice and small bulby(fat) type of bulbs . I have seen some that I have liked; like the semi alba on the link provided was one I liked and was going to bid on but did not have the time. But would appreciate any sources of places where I can find the types of Walkerianas that I am interested in. Or if anyone might have divisions it would be nice if I could be offered one. Well thanks soo much! :D

Thanks! i saw the santa barbera website for the alba, but they cannot provide me with some pictures so, i really can't be more interested without them....did you guys check the ebay link with that semi-alba? that semi alba is really beautiful the first semi-alba that got my interest, because other semi albas dont have that full round lip, and shape as this one. Others are skinny which i dont like. But thanks!

Contact the vendors and ask for photos .. many are more than willing to provide you with additional information they may not have on their sites (especially if it involves a possible purchase)
