and it is a keeper.
Cattleya intermedia x BL Morning Glory; blooming now, and I bought the plant this spring (March?). Nothing like some buoyant heat and humidity to promote rabid growth.
Cheers - Nancy

very pretty Nancy, do you have a pic of the whole plant too?

Very nice Nancy! $5 is a DEAL!!! My local baggie orchid vendors mostly just stock the "froofy" varieties. I'd buy that one in a heartbeat!

Great return on your $ 5. Well spent eh?

I wish my local HD had these or the floofy ones.

Floofy is often referred to a Cattleya (orchid) flower that is frilly and fluffy(?), almost feminine in visual characteristics .. like a Flamenco dancer's dress .. it is usually the larger Catt blooms but there are some that are smaller in size also. :)
If anyone else cares to elaborate on the 'floofy' definition - be my guest :D

Ah, floofy! And yet, though it fits the description, I'd never describe a digbyana as 'floofy' - more massive, brawny, stellar, spectacular...floofy sounds kind of - uh - sissy!
Regards - Nancy

Semi-floofy, perhaps ..
We have a few anti-floof-ite members (Ross for one .. :coverlaugh: )
I am not one for flowers that are too floofy either though some are spectacular
I have never considered a digby floofy .. I think the term refers more to the giant hybrid Catts ..
just like the term 'Cabbage Catts' which I believe refers to the size of the flower ...
