Mtdm. Wildwood 'HOF' AM/AOS.. Please help!
 

I really hate cross posting, but I posted in the beginners forum with no luck. I figured if I tried a lil more specific forum I might get lucky.. Thanks for any help in advance!

I have one orchid that is just fighting me, and I can not find any decent information about it on the web.

It is labeled as a "Mtdm. Wildwood 'HOF' AM/AOS"

I have been giving it a light dose of 20-14-13 (No Uhea) -- And I have tried every sun/water mixture you can think of. Now -- With lots of water, and Lots of sun, It's starting to have a little new growth -- but still has a yellow tinge to it and randomly gets sickly/wrinkly looking.

Hi, I have a Mtdm. Bartley Schwartz 'Highland'. What I have found with these is that they like strong light, but not really hot temps. I keep mine in with the Phals most of the time with some supplemental light, and it has bloomed inside. This year I am experimenting with my cooler growers, and have set up a table outside under a tree. Since temps are down, and nights are cool 60 F and above (but not too cool), I am gonna put them out for the fresh air and some extra light for a month or two. My Dends, Catts, and Cyms have been out since the end of May. But this is in Missouri, and as soon as nights reach 55 F most go in, and when nights reach 50 F the rest go in. When I got my plant it was June of 07, and temps were in the 90 F area, it was outside, and it's leaves looked like straw. As soon as I put it in the house with some water and cooler temps (I try to keep it around 74 F in the house), it was happy and produced new growths. It was happiest when the power went out this winter, and the temps inside reached around 55 F and it continued growing, everyone else sulked, and I almost lost a P. bellina. I keep it fairly moist, as even a little time drying out crinkles the leaves. I hope that helps.

Interesting. I have never even thought about temp with this guy. Since I have had this plant it was been 90+ outside during the days -- which might just be frying it. But when i originally looked it up, for some reason I had "Hawaiian hybrid" in my mind which made me think it was better off outside.

I guess I'll try bringing it inside for a while and see if that helps.. It really can't hurt at this point...

After doing some more searching I'm really kinda curious about this guy now.... So if anyone else has any more info, I'd appreciate it...
