It is beautiful Jouni L. and yes, the fragrance is outstanding. Wait until you get multiple spikes with multiple blooms - even more spectacular fragrance and they last a long time.

I have several green cat. crosses but I've never seen a grn Phal. It's nice but would be better without the markings on the sepals....just my 2 cents. Not many a phals. I've seen that have a fragrance. Nice orchid tho!

Don the markings fade with age but not the fragrance. There are many phals with great fragrance, you just have to know the pedigrees to find them.
Try Phal. bellina, violacea, venosa, amboinensis, tetraspis to name a few species and of course, primary or near primary hybrids made with these fragrant species. Brooke |

Very nice indeed. I see the markings fading. Well formed flowers and the green color is pretty, to say the least. Is she considered a mini as the spike doesn't seem so tall?

The spike is quite short, but i hope, later when the plant is older and stronger, there will be much more scented flowers on taller spike. :) |
