I really wish I could take credit for blooming this but I can't. This was part of my haul last week-end from Greenearth Orchids and the buds were still really tight...her parents are Cyc. Bo Day Shus 'Carmen Luis Capriles' AM x Cyc. cooperi 'Crownfox' AM/AOS (thanx Sue :blushing: )

Thanx for looking

oh wow. how do you grow her?

CoolPhrog 08-20-2008 08:05 PM

Right now, she's in an east facing windowsill. I'll probably keep her in the same type of light as my stan and gongora...

Wow! I really like that white lip. Its got such an unusual shape. Does anyone with OrchidWiz know the parentage of Cyc. Bo Day Shus 'Carmen Luis Capriles' AM? This is a very interesting cross. Thanks for the pics!

OMG!!! :yikes: This great little guy sits on my kitchen windowsill and the scent carries ALL OVER the kitchen, dining room and living room....although I'm never any good at describing a flower's scent, this one's a no brainer....it's a combination of magic marker and moth balls!!!  . It isn't offensive in the slightest but it deinately doesn't smell like a catt!!!

Enjoy :blushing:
