new purchases from oak hill

 So excited...Just thought I'd share...My order from Oak Hill just arrived today! It's the biggest order I've ever placed (my bf is going to kill me when he gets back in town!) Lovely plants as always and great packaging!

Tolumnia Phyllis Envy 'Ruby Queen' x self
Leptotes bicolor
Encyclia bractescens
Phal. equestris
Promenaea Meadow Gold
Rodrumnia (Tol. Akeka 'Peaches' x Rrm. Orchidom Dancer)

Here they are in the holding bay.

Tol. Phyllis Envy is blooming on two spikes and the color is just gorgeous. I also can't believe how huge both the Tol. and Rodrumnia are! Have a question related to those two, but will post another thread for that.

Thanks for lookin'.

Wow, Yvan, those look really wonderful! I can see why you are so happy!! (And I'm sure your BF will understand!)

I love the Tolumnias... but I don't think they would like me!

Oh, NOW you did it. I was looking for another small-ish Encyclia to put with my tampense. Now I'm just gonna' have to go buy myself a bractescens. Anyone know if these would do better mounted, vs. potted? With my current setup, potted would probably be easier...

Orchidwiz says they like to be potted in undersized pots with 1-2 years room for growth. They can be mounted too but call for very high humidity and need to be watered at least once a day in summer, multiple times if in a hot location.

Oooops! I forgot you, Yvan! :blushing:

I love the plants you received...Oak Hill packages always give me a warm glowing feeling :cloud9:
