One more Exo-terra terrarium
7 Attachment(s)
Dear all,
I just finished setting up my new terrarium. It is a 60x60x45 cm Exo-terra with one Dual Canopy Top with two grow lights. There are two fans operating 24/7, three misting nozzles, and the same Exo-terra foam background it came with except with some orchid bark and soil siliconed onto it. The bottom is filled with LECA, a screen, and then covered with more orchid bark and some terrarium moss. It gets sprayed everyday three times a day for 5 seconds each. The humidity goes from 75-99% with temps from 21-26C. Right now, I have in there (starting from top left going counter clockwise): 1. Aerangis articulata (pic shows it on a coco fiber background, but I later attached it to the background) 2. Aeranthes grandiflora 3. Haraella odorata (I think it has 4 spikes!) 4. Nanodes schlechterianum 5. Bulbophyllum putidum 6. Encyclia radiata 7. NOID Dendrobium 8. Neofinetia falcata 9. Phal. cornu cervi (a bit black from some cold damage) 10. Sedirea japonica I put the aerangis directly on the background....hope it is ok there. I wanted it high so if it every blooms, the spray won't be obstructed. I hope it is high enough. I've been moving everything around which is probably getting them really mad. I want to put more orchids in but not sure how I can utilize the wood more. Any suggestions? |
That's fantastic!
