I love this little one !
I'll join you in drooling  Not easy to find or grow! Excellent job  |
That is just TOO cute!
Job well done! |
OK, so you are going to pollinate this one, right? Just kidding - kind of.

Very cool little species.

Wow I have never seen a picture of one of these, but I have seen the name once or twice, I love it! Thanks for sharing!
P.S.......Pollinate, Pollinate! |
Super neat! Just try not to get too much slobber in its pouch. Could weigh the whole thing down.

Since this is my first time with this diminutive plant and this is it's first bloom, should I try to capture the pollinia for future use?? My my, you guys are a distracting influence on me. I should be working on my grant proposal, a publication and my dissertation, but I'd rather be in the greenhouse playing. I got my flasks set up for the B. nodosa pod. I am watching for mold and will set seed next week if they stay clear!! I will have to check about storing pollinia for phrags. Any suggestions on a resource?:scratchhead: Thank you for all of your encouragement!

I know, I'm a freak!
There is a Pollen Storage thread up near the top of the propagation forum right now. But seriously, taking the pollen may doom the flower to rapid demise. It's your bloom - enjoy it and don't pay attention to greedy little ol' me! :blushing: p.s. Quite the jungle scene in those pics. Looks like a nice place to hang out! Good growing V! |
