LOST ORCHIDS

Hello friends! Could anyone please tell me where I obtain the list of lost orchids (orchids discovered in the past but not seen since, and therefore assumed to be possibly extinct in the wild) with accompanying pictures/sketches? Thank you so much for your help and advice...

Try tropicos.org
I don't know if they have the category, but it's them or Kew Gardens unless some independent person has compiled such a list.

if that's indeed the case... the way to do it is taking the plant to a Botanical Garden and let it be identified by a botanist (a article would then be published at a serious scientific journal reporting that the plants was found again!) This way, it can be ensured that indeed it is a re-found species, or a new species, or a new variety of a know species, or that you were "too happy, too early" ;)
