Sobralia info please
 

Hi!
I need info on how to grow Sobralias.
Mine grows about a foot high and have pink flowers, my mom said so, but it has never flowered.
We have mediterranean weather with winter rain.
I am growing it outdoors this year and it has just started its new growth.

Please help.

This is probably a Sobralia species that gets very large (between 3' to 6'). The only exception is Sobralia callosa.

If it is the larger variety, it's not blooming sized yet. Many Sobralias are intermediate growing. They're also terrestrials or semi-terrestrials.

The flowers are also short lived, usually lasting no more than a week.
