Thanks Cheryl, I want to go back and see this one again. Last year it bloomed 2 or 3 times.

Good thing it's being protected. I'd like to make time to see it. I wonder how many more undiscovered ghosts are out there.

I don't know if you have ever been to Corkscrew but you can't walk around. you have to stay on the boardwalk.

Swamper 07-05-2008 11:23 PM

No. I've never been there. I have read up on it many times so yes I knew you couldn't just walk in there. It still must be a pretty cool place. I also saw you in the pics from last year there. It must have been nice. Were you wishing you COULD go in???

I'll love to add one of this guys to my collection. I saw one of them before yesterday; however the plant wasn't in bloom.

Swamper 07-06-2008 10:12 AM

Roly at the rate you're collection is growing, I wouldn't be surprised if one day you you had a new..Look what I got...thread :). I have to warn you though before you do order one, do a lot of research on it and plan your area well. :goodluck:

I'll probably set my 29 gallon tank as an aquaterrarium so as to maintain the high humidity and heat in a controlled environment.

I got a tiny seedling from royalorchids, one of OB 's members about 3 weeks ago. I watch it like a hawk. I feel a little helpless though, like I am not doing enough for it. Then again there's not much to do except keep it humid, warm, basically like the conditions in the swamp. Still being my first...Im a little nervous about it.
