Wild Encyclia tampesis Blooming!
 

After a long wait these Encyclia tampensis are in bloom. Being new to orchids I had never noticed these on my property before, that is until a few months ago. I have been waiting patiently for these to bloom. What a show they are putting on now. Here are a few pics from the other day showing the countless blooms.

How nice to have a natural beauty on you land. They have a wonderful scent. I spent most of the day looking for wild orchids and saw many E. tempensis's but nothing as spectacular as yours.
