how do you "process" new plants

Ladies & Gentlemen, Upon unpacking new arrivals that are very dry and over grown (growing up and out of the pot ) what is the general care--how soon would you move them to s/h --my new Brsdm "black gold" looks great and new shoots growing high up out of the 3" pot ---also, on another thought, can I "bag & spag" an oncidium to start new root growth-- I am enjoying great success with this methodology on Phals--James
PS You folks have been great and so very helpful--give yourself a big hug !

Hey James, Thanks....I needed the hug! :)
I don't know anything about s/h but Welcome to First Rays Orchids has so much information on that. He has a free information link on just about everything, including that. I think all your questions will be answered there. Good luck! :)
