:waving Does anybody know what's my plant in orchid species? I see her like Oncidium species but I search in Net her's in Brassia species. In Vietnam we call her is "Green Spide"

Brassia Eternal Wind = Brassia Bracdiana x Brassia Rex

Brassia Bracdiana = Brassia brachiata x Brassia gireoudiana

Brassia Rex = Brassia verrucosa x Brassia gireoudiana

Does that answer your question? :)

That's right. Thanks quiltergal. But I think my plant is Brassia Rex.

Hi Rai, I don't know Brassia Eternal Wind, so I cannot judge, but.... if you bought that plant labelled as Brassia Eternal Wind "Summer Dream", why do you think it is a different hybrid? Anyway, the point is that if you really want to clarify that, I would suggest the best way is to contact the nursery where you buy the plant from and ask them. They will be the most indicated one for it. Post them also a picture of the flower, as this would help them to see if the plant was mislabelled...

Hi Rai,
I have a Brassia Eternal Wind 'Tow'....see my picture in my gallery....Yes, it is in Oncidium family. Eternal Wind is as quiltergal states. A cross between Bracdiana x Rex.

What more is there to say?

eternal wind is cream and green with purple spots. Your looks like brassia rex or could just be a cross i supose.

Ive had this plant before.

Really enjoyed it when it bloomed for me.

Im actually looking to acquire it again. But looking thru the pictures Im a bit confused. My plant was labeled Brassia Eternal Wind 'Summer Dream' SQ/JOGA . But Im also finding references to SM/JOGA.

Is there a difference?

Thanx

Todd
