Vanda NOID, photographs.
Sure wish I had an ID on this plant; lip is all wrong for V. tricolor.
Has great sweet fragrance! Any ideas on it's ID? http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...am/Vnoid01.jpg http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...oram/Vnoid.jpg http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...m/Vnoidlip.jpg |
So are you thinking its a hybrid? In any case, its niiice!
|
Yes; a hybrid. Pod parent could have been tricolor, however, I do not believe it is a primary hybrid.
This is a division from a very very large plant. It was being cultivated [in S. Florida] in a milk crate and should have been in some thing much larger. I brook [literally brook] 10 divisions from, the mother plant. I have five left, and would love to use my merrillii [currently in flower] as a pod parent and this as the pollen. I attempt – with out success – to ID the mother plant, no luck. |
ooh! Pretty! Too bad it's a NOID, or I'd hunt it down!
