Fertilize or not ??
 

I recently acquired a pitcher plant from my local nursery. Care tag on the plant advised to water thoroughly, bright/full or filtered sunlight. DO NOT FERTILIZE. So while browsing at another nursery over the weekend, saw the same plant, but sign above the display said Fertilize with orchid fertilizer. what to do:scratchhead:

I would follow the instruction that came with the plant. These plants are grown this way from the nursery. If you want to fert. I would do it very gradually

Don't fertilize any carniverous plants. They aren't able to assimilate the fertilizer through the roots. They do best with pure water (RO or rain water or distilled) and kept slightly acid. If they are able to catch bugs, they will get what nutrients they need.
