Best Potting Medium For Young Oncidium Alliances
 

Hey guys, I picked up ten of these little buggers bare rooted and just little tykes(impulse buy on e-bay.....I. Must. Stop!). They're about 10cm leaf length on average. What's the best mix to pot them into to get their roots developing? I've put them in a mix of fine cym/course cattelaya/perlite/charcoal and then put some pebbles at the bottom of their pots, but they don't seem happy......... We've got yellow leaves going on. Also, I think maybe they're a bit too damp, not sure the mix is well draining enough. Also, what light levels do they want?
