Wrinkled buds in new spike Atropurpurea
 

An Atropurpurea spike is just beginning to open. The plant has two, but I don't know what to make of these buds. Don't the buds look wrinkled? Or is that normal?
If it's unusual, can anyone tell me what I should correct?
The darkness is due to shadows, but there are no fungi.

Are you keeping up with the watering?

Has the humidity been low?

Has it been exposed to warm drafts or bright sun?

If you are talking about those "dents" it looks totally normal to me. Usually if buds are failing they yellow or loose their color at the same time.

Thanks Ray, Humidity is 75 , dli is about 11 with never more up of 15 , and 26 temperature.
